On June 10 in Nanjing, more than fifty Chinese culture enthusiasts from the China Society of Cultural Heritage gathered at the Nanjing Xuanwu Lake and held worship ceremony to Qu Yuan. Through the ceremony, they hope to carry forward the traditional culture and celebrate the Dragon Boat Festival. Dragon Boat Festival, also known as May Day and Duanwu Festival, was set to memorize the patriotic poet Qu Yuan who died on this day. The festival is also included in the list of world intangible cultural heritage.
