World’s largest 3D laser printer born in Dalian, Northeast China’s Liaoning province

Reporter learned from the Dalian Municipal Economic Commission on 5 June, co-developed by the Dalian University of Technology and Dalian Science and Technology Development Co., Ltd., the world’s current largest 3D laser printer with maximum processing size of 1.8 meter has entered into trial stage. As the world’s largest laser 3D printer, it can produce large industrial sample as well as complex molds. Since it uses unique technical route known as “contour line scan”, the processing time is reduced by 35% and manufacturing costs reduced by 40% compared to other types of 3D laser printer.
