Osumi Strait
According to Kyodo News, Japan’s defense ministry on the 8th of June revealed that a Chinese naval destroyer and a frigate passed the Kagoshima Osumi Strait and headed westward. Report claimed that this is the second time the Chinese warships passed through the strait. Since the area is an international strait, the navigation does not violate the “international law.”

It is reported that two ships had passed through the Okinawa and Miyako Island waters to the Pacific Ocean for training at about 450 kilometers south of the island.
