During this year’s “two sessions”, member of National People’s Congress, Liu Li pointed out that since there are many married migrant workers who come to the city to work, many coupled were separated, some of them form interim couples. Immediately, the problem of “temporary couples” among migrant workers became hot in society.
During the process of urbanization in China with large population movement, the influx of a large number of migrant workers working in urban areas is inevitable. In the cities, however, the normal physiological needs of these workers generally can not be met, it is also difficult for them to obtain services like education, medical care, social security, or even a place to live like urban citizens resulting in a number of problems. Under such conditions, “temporary couples” were generated.
