According to Taiwan’s TVBS website news, Taiwan’s first case human infection of H7N9 bird flu was confirmed, the patient had been sent to a dedicated hospital for treatment.
Taiwan CDC has just confirmed the first case of the H7N9 avian flu, a 53-year-old man working in Suzhou, and on April 23 traveled from Suzhou back to Taiwan. Showing fever, cough, runny nose and other symptoms, his entry into the Taoyuan International Airport was stopped, and he was directly sent to a dedicated hospital in north of Taiwan for treatment. Specimen released earlier confirmed the man to be the first infected with H7N9 in Taiwan.
