Following the average price of 21,958 yuan (US$ 3,513) /sq.m April in Shenzhen which was a three-year record high, in May the price growth of new home transactions in Shenzhen did not stop and climbed to 22,322 yuan (US$ 3,571) / square meter. Again, it refreshed the highest price since March 2010.
Shenzhen Urban Planning and Land Resources Committee yesterday announced the soil net signs data which showed that the average transaction price rose again by nearly two percentage points. Following the rising prices, the volume increase was obvious. The total number of new homes in Shenzhen in May was 4,957 sets with a total area of about 456,000 square meters, an almost 30% increase compared to April.
