Currently the real economy in China remains in the doldrums, will there be any further economic stimulus policies and plans? At least for now, the government has no such intention.

On May 23, a National Development and Reform Commission official said “Do not expect there will be a new round of economic stimulus plan, what companies need to do is to seize the opportunity to eliminate backward production capacity and upgrade the industrial structure.”

On the same day, the Ministry of Industry official sent a clearer signal that: “If the real economy performance is lower than expected level, there must be some corresponding policies; but currently there is no policy to stimulate the real economy, at least there will be another period of observation.”
