One widely welcome custom in the South China’s Guang Dong province as well as HongKong and Macau is having morning tea. At the dining tables, people would have tea, like Oolong Tea (e.g. Tieh-Kuan-Yin Tea) Green Tea (e.g. Dragon Well Tea) and black tea (e.g. Pu Er Tea), and enjoy various snacks. And because of the great love of the Cantonese of having morning tea, the teahouses or hotels offering morning tea services are places where people make friends and family gathering which can be traced as early as being in the Qing Dynasty.
