Prohibited articles to be carried by passengers as both hand carry luggage or check-in luggage include:
(A) Guns, military or police equipment category (including the main components) including:
Military guns, guns for the discharge of official duties: pistols, rifles, submachine guns, machine guns, anti-riot gun.
Civilian gun: air guns, shotguns, sporting gun, anesthetic injection gun, the starting gun.
Other guns: Sample guns, props gun.
Daggers, bayonets, batons and other weapons.
National banned firearms, such as ball guns, tear gas guns, stun guns, electric shock, defense appliance.
Models of the above-mentioned items.
(B) Explosives category including:
Ammunition: bombs, grenades, flares, incendiary bombs, smoke bombs, flares, tear gas, gas bombs and bullets (blank ammunition, battle bomb, bomb test, coach bombs).
Blasting equipment: explosives, detonators, fuses, detonating cord, non-electric blasting systems, blasting agents.
Pyrotechnic articles: shell, fireworks, firecrackers.

(C) Controlled knives as stipulated by the State Council in 1983 in the “Interim Provisions on the part of the knives to be controlled” including daggers, knives with three edges (including triangular blade used in machinery), the tool and the shape of a dagger with a self-locking device longer than single-blade knife dagger, double-edged knife, and other similar alone blade, double-edged, triangular knife. Ethnic minorities who need to wear knives, the use of knives, broadsword, boots, knives, and other categorized as controlled knives can only be allowed to wear and use the controlled knives in the autonomous areas.
(D) Flammable, explosive materials including the spontaneous combustion of hydrogen, oxygen, butane bottled compressed gas, liquefied gas; phosphorus, white phosphorus the nitrocellulose (including film), greaseproof paper and its products; metallic potassium, sodium , lithium, calcium carbide (calcium carbide), magnesium aluminum powder and water combustible materials; gasoline, kerosene, diesel oil, benzene, ethanol (alcohol), paint thinner, rosin oil, and flammable liquids; flash powder, solid alcohol, celluloid flammable solids; sodium peroxide, potassium peroxide, lead peroxide, peracetic acid and other inorganic and organic oxides.
(E) The poisoned goods including cyanide, toxic pesticides and other toxic materials.
(F) Corrosive substances including sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, liquid battery, sodium hydroxide, potassium hydroxide, etc.
(G) Radioactive substances such as radioactive isotopes and other radioactive substances.
(H) Other articles that might endanger the flight safety, such as magnetic material.
(I) Other goods prohibited and regulated under the national laws and regulations.
(J) Passenger flights to the US can carry ordinary lighter, but torch lighter is not included.
