Lesser Fullness of Grain (小满)

 Lesser Fullness of Grain

Lesser Fullness of Grain is the 8th twenty-four solar term in China. It describes that the summer grain and corps start to plump but not yet mature. When this solar term arrives, people in the north should pay attention to the prevention of dry and hot wind as well as other extreme weathers such as sudden thunderstorms, strong winds and hails. Farmers in the south should use fertilizers to assist the plumping of the grains.
