China CCCME, China Renewable Energy Society, Trans Union New Energy Chamber of Commerce, China Association of Resources Comprehensive Utilization of Renewable Energy Professional Committee and China Photovoltaic Industry Association on behalf of the Chinese PV industry welcome this agreement.
The European PV industry and the Chinese PV industry are at in different segments in the chain of the global PV industry with significant common interests. The peaceful resolution of the trade disputes over the photovoltaic products will bring win-win results which are mutually beneficial and conducive to common development of the global PV industry as well as creating a good environment for the development of the China-EU bilateral trade relations.
The PV trade friction is the largest trade dispute case in the history of the Sino-Europe trade which attracted the attention of Chinese and the EU leaders. Premier Li Keqiang and European Commission President Barroso communicated in person which laid a good foundation for the two sides to reach a political commitment. State Council leaders, the Ministry of Commerce and the relevant government departments concerned to support the development of Chinese PV industry; national governments and EU leaders, industry organizations, and many companies also supported the resolution of the trade disputes through consultations to which the China’s PV industry expresses its heartfelt thanks!
More emphasis on industrial planning is needed to facilitate the development of the Chinese PV industry in term of international market diversification, international and domestic market balance, coordinated of new technologies, materials and equipment manufacturing.
The Chinese PV industry has been working to maintain a fair international trade environment and opposes any trade protectionism and advocates to resolve trade disputes through negotiation.
