Japanese Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera required China to restrain maritime operations

On the morning of 1 May, Japanese Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera in Singapore attented the Asian security conference speech and seeked understanding for  Abe government’s intends to strengthen the collective self-defense forces, he said, “There are views that this is rightist, but this is a misconception. The aim is to contribute to regional stability. “At the same time, Itsunori Onodera also stressed that regarding the Diaoyu Islands issue, Japan is determined to spare no pains to avoid unexpected events.”

It is reported that although Japanese Defense Minister Itsunori Onodera did not name China, but he cited a story to required the Chinese side to restraint maritime conflicts that may lead to misunderstandings.
