Definition of 通用航空(General Aviation)

通用航空(General Aviation) refers to the use of civil aircrafts in civil aviation activities outside the commercial aviation. It includes those engaged in agriculture, forestry, fisheries and construction, medical care, disaster relief, meteorological, ocean monitoring, scientific experiments education and training, culture, sports and other aspects of similar civil flights activities.

Civil aviation is divided into two categories, namely commercial and general aviation. Commercial Aviation deals with the operating of passenger transport and freight transport aviation activities, which are the normal flight activities that can be accessed by most people. General Aviation covers all flight activities except those within the scope of Commercial Aviation.
