Eiffel Tower in Hangzhou, China

In the Tianducheng Residential District of a small town named Linping Xingqiao in Hangzhou, the first domestic imitation of the famous Eiffel Tower in France was established in the late 2007. The tower has a total height of 108 meters, it is built according to the zoom ratio of 1:3 against the real Eiffel Tower, besides the overall dimensions the design is similar to the original in France.

The overall steel structure weights a total of more than 1,000 tons. The tower is divided into eight sections, each section provides a platform for tourist rest with a diagonal lift. The French style buildings in the town has become a popular place of taking wedding photos for local Chinese people who may not afford a travel to Paris.
