Though it is explicitly written in the Zhougong’s Dream Dictionary that tooth / teeth loss in the dream is a symbol of “mourning at home (family decease)” and even today it is the most popular dream explanation, with various possibilities, such a sign of “family decease” will not definitely appear:-

1. Tooth / teeth loss hints the teeth illness

Physical stimulation is a major source of dream. Under some circumstances, the meaning of the dream has direct relationship with physiological conditions. Thus decayed tooth or teeth pathological changes and etc could lead to the dream of tooth / teeth loss, and this is purely caused by physiological factors.

2. Problems with social relationships
