Department of Commerce to initiate anti-dumping investigations against imports of Perchlorethylene from EU and U.S.

 

On May 31, the Ministry of Commerce issued Notice No. 32 of 2013, with immediate effect, to start the anti-dumping investigations against imports of Perchlorethylene (or Tetrachloroethylene) from EU and U.S.

The investigation is initiated by the Chinese domestic industry, the investigated products are classified in the “China Import and Export Tariff Rules – 29032300”.

Under the anti-dumping regulations and provisions, the Ministry of Commerce will investigate the dumping of the imports of Perchlorethylene (or Tetrachloroethylene) from EU and U.S. and evaluate the extent of loss suffered by the Chinese industry. The investigation will be from 31 May 2013 and should normally end before May 31, 2014 the end of the survey. Under special circumstances it may be extended to 30 November 2014.
