According to the recent assessment results from the National Committee of Genetically Modified Organisms, the Ministry of Agriculture approved imports of herbicide-resistant soybeans CV127, insect resistant MON87701 and herbicide-resistant and insect resistant soybean MON87701 × MON89788. The three may be imported and used as raw materials for further processing.

It is understood that herbicide-resistant soybeans CV127 have been approved for commercial planting or eating in the United States, Canada, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Mexico, Colombia, Russia, South Africa, Brazil, Argentina and other countries; Insect-resistant soybean MON87701 have been approved for commercial planting or eating in the United States, Canada, Japan, the EU, Mexico and other countries.; Herbicide-resistant and insect resistant soybean MON87701 × MON89788 have been approved for commercial planting or eating in the European Union, South Korea, Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and other countries.
