China suffers the largest the outflow of talent

With the rapid development of the higher education in China, the enrollment rate into institutions of higher education has reached 30%. As of the end of 2010, the total talent pool in China reached 120 million and 12.5% of the total labor force received higher education.

However, recently a Central Coordination Group Office responsible person said in an interview with People’s Daily that “The loss of top talents in China is the largest in the world compared to other countries, in particular the outflow rate of top talents in science and engineering fields is as high as 87%”.
