China new leaders’ media key words

It’s been one month since the new Chinese leadership took office during the Two Sessions, i.e. the National People’s Congress (全国人民代表大会) and the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference (中国人民政治协商会). According to the ChinaNews report, central leaders’ frequency voice on the national economy and the people’s livelihood such as “Governing a large country is like cooking a small fish (治大国如烹小鲜)”, “only the one who wears the shoes knows whether they fit or not (鞋子合不合脚,自己穿了才知道)”, ” well-off or non-well-off, it is up to fellows (小康不小康,关键看老乡)”, these media key words have become words of mouth among ordinary people.

—“China Dream in essence is the dream of the people.(中国梦归根到底是人民的梦)”

—“Share (with every one) the opportunity to live the life of color. (共同享有人生出彩的机会)”

March 17, 2013, Chinese President Xi Jinping said at the closing session of the second session of the National People’s Congress meeting to talking again about the “China Dream”.

—“Governing a large country is like cooking a small fish.(治大国如烹小鲜)”

March 19, Xi Jinping said in the joint interview with the media of the BRIC countries, he answered the Brazilian reporters about the leadership of a population of 1.3 billion he pledged to work to his full potential and diligence for the country and be careful about any small things.

—Touched interests are often harder than touch the soul. “(触动利益往往比触及灵魂还难)”

March 17, Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met answered the questions from Chinese and foreign reporters. During the entire press conference, Li Keqiang, with a series of impersonal and simple words revealing a pragmatic determination to lead the new government and be committed to reform.

—“Well-off or non-well-off, it is up to the fellows(小康不小康,关键看老乡)”.

April 9, Xi Jinping stressed in Sanya, Hainan during the inspection, agriculture policy should be implemented by the central government to create a new situation for the farmer and claimed that the standard of building well off society is that whether the fellows (people in the rural areas) are living a well off life.
