GAC Group donated 3 million yuan (US $480,000) as earthquake relief fund

According to the People’s Daily, on the morning of April 20, a 7.0 magnitude earthquake happened in Ya’an, Sichuan Province which shocked the whole nation. On the same day, China’s auto show kicked off, among cars and beautiful girls, people soon found that some car dealers quickly displayed the “Be strong, Ya’an” slogan. The even was soon became popular in the microblogging. Car dealers had adopted various ways such as donation or cancelling some hot shows to express their concern over the disaster.

Shanghai Auto Show has always been marked with key words like sexy, atmospheric, luxury, conceptual and other characteristics, in front of the current national crisis, car dealers approached humane actions which is touching and showed their corporate social responsibility.
