Asia’s largest gas processing platform set sail to South China Sea

Yesterday the independently developed the Liwan 3-1 gas processing platform with two patrol boats escorted marched from Qingdao and heading for the South China Sea. The project has three main decks, the uppermost platform main deck is 107 meters long, 77 meters wide, bigger than a standard football field; the main deck is 41 meters from the ground, equivalent to the height of 18 floors,making the Liwan 3-1 gas processing platform the largest in Asia.

Starting from Qingdao, the Liwan 3-1 gas processing platform is expected to arrive the the designated water after 25 days, and the time it will be put into operation is around September 2014.
