According to the ChinaNews, recently a sow gave birth to a “two-headed pig” in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. Based on the report, on the morning of April 9, a sow gave birth to 12 cubs, one of the cubs has two heads, three eyes, four legs. The pig was 28 cm in length, and weighed about 1 kg. According to local veterinarians, this is a typical case of embryonic development of congenital malformations disease which is rare with a frequency of one out of 50,000 to 100,000 cases. Still it is difficult for such larvae to survive.
