AFC: Hengda 2-1 won the champion of Australian Football League

At 17:30 on May 15, in the first round of the 2013 AFC Champions League 1/8 final, Guangzhou Hengda made a 2-1 turnover to win the strong Central Coast Mariners from Australia; in 7 minutes Duke from Central Coast Mariners opened the scoring, in 27 minutes Barrios from Hengda scored the first goal bringing back 1:1 and in 75 minutes the Muric from Hengda scored lore ball.

This is Gangzhou Hengda FC (or Guangzhou EverGrande FC, 广州恒大足球俱乐部)’s first time encountering to an Australian team in the AFC, it manged to make a turnover final win 2-1 with assistance of the Barrios and Muric.

Hengda not only won two valuable goals, but also enhanced the chance to enter survive the 1/8 final. After returning home, in case it does not lose to the opponents for more than two goals then it will reach the quarterfinal.

In addition, the Muric tied Super AFC scoring record of Chinese team players: Muric scored the reverse the ball which is his 10 goals in the AFC, tied the record of Hao Haidong and Han Peng in the Super AFC in the history of Chinese teams.
