A woman’s iPhone 5 exploded after taking a long call

Following an airline stewardess being killed by electric shock when answering a call with a charging iPhone 5, recently another case regarding the iPhone 5 safety problems showed up. According to the Renmin Network report, a woman after taking a long call (about 40 minutes) found her iPhone 5’s screen exploded in a sudden and the fragment scratched her eyeball slightly resulting in one day’s hospitalization. It’s reported that Apple China is still looking into the case. Some believed that the hot weather in China is one key factor resulting in the frequent happening of the iPhone 5 malfunctioning events but some claimed that iPhone series smart phones are like computers, they shall received more careful treatments in actual using and overheating seems to be a major direct reason for many similar issues.
