A water heating supplier injects urine into pipes in Weifang

A heating supplier in Weifang City in North China’s Shandong Province was reported as injecting a large quantity of human urine into the heating water in order to stop the intensified steal of hot water from the heating pipes, local newspaper Qilu Evening Post reported.

According to a reporter interview, a company staff admitted that the company did post some ads to purchase urine from the public at RMB 10 (US$ 1.63) per barrel. She said that the company injects the urine to try to stop the common steal of hot water, previously the company needed to recharge a lot of fresh water everyday to make up shortage caused by the steal.
