A 9-year-old girl donated organs and helped five patients in Shunde, Guangdong

Xiao Le said in her last homework: “I have a dream that in the future I can be a useful person”

On July 17, 2013, under the agreement of parents, the nine-year-old Xiao Le who drown on July 12 donated her corneas, liver and kidneys benefiting five patients. She still exists in a new way, becoming the ninth recorded organ donor in Shunde, South China’s Guangdong Province.

“I have a dream that in the future I can be a usefeul person, to help people and our country. If I see people who need help, I will help them; If there is belonging on the road, I will return it back to the owner, or give it to the police; if there are elderly people with reduced mobility, I must help them.” Xiao Le wrote in her last homework.
