2013 Father’s Day in China: Chinese fathers are embarrassed

With the approaching of the Father’s Day, the festival of Father’s Day is not as noise and warming compared to the Mother’s Day or the Valentine’s Day, and it is also not as cheerful as Children’s Day. The recent Taobao data show that only 320,000 “daddy” related good are on sale, in the last month there are an on average 800 people per day searching the key word “gift for father”. On this basis, the popularity the Chinese fathers receive is inadequate as it is only 1/8 compared to the mothers’, 1/20 of the couples’, and 1/30 of the children. Chinese fathers have an embarrassing Father’s Day.
