124 detained Chinese gold miners in Ghana have all been released

According to the Chinese Embassy in Ghana website news, on the 8th of June, the Chinese Embassy and the Ghana National Security and Immigration Departments held close coordination and all the 124 detained Chinese gold miners have all all released. The Ghana side promised that another 45 Chinese detained under National Bureau of Investigation jail will be released on the 10th.

Chinese Embassy in Ghana reminded the gold miners to purchase return airfare as soon as possible. Those who lost passports may go to the embassy on the 10th onwards to apply for the return certificate.

As agreed with Ghana, the Ghana side agreed to stop arrests recently, and provide convenience and necessary assistance to those who wish to leave.
